Michael Knowles, born on March 18, 1990, in Bedford Hills, New York, is a prominent American conservative political commentator, author, and media host. He is widely recognized for his work with The Daily Wire, where he hosts “The Michael Knowles Show,” a daily political podcast that began in 2017.
Early Life and Education
Raised in a Catholic family of Italian descent, Knowles pursued his passion for acting early on, training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He later attended Yale University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Italian.During his time at Yale, he produced the first English rendering of Niccolò Machiavelli’s play “Andria.”
Acting Career
Before venturing into political commentary, Knowles explored acting, appearing in various web series and films. Notable works include roles in “Survive,” “Triangle,” and “House of Shades.” He also starred in the comedy feature film “Hollyweird.”

In 2016, Knowles joined The Daily Wire, initially contributing to “The Andrew Klavan Show.” He gained significant attention in 2017 with the publication of his satirical book “Reasons to Vote for Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide,” which consists of 266 blank pages. The book became a bestseller on Amazon and was praised by former President Donald Trump.
