The illustrious OniriQ Fashion Show 2024 in Paris, a recent addition to the global fashion calendar, concluded yesterday, February 28th, in a spectacular fusion of art, luxury, and fashion. The event, organized in partnership with Forbes France, drew the who’s who of the fashion world, including entrepreneur and fashion icon Anna Stukkert who is also a Founder and CEO of International Investment Congress. Held at the prestigious Bridge Club on Pont Alexander III, the event was not just a fashion show but a grand gala celebrating the artistry and innovation of emerging designers.
Dominique Busso, the CEO of Forbes France and Founder of OniriQ Magazine, reflected on the journey of OniriQ. “A lot of people said that launching my magazine was never going to work. Well, after a year and a half, 60 issues, and a fashion show, I think we are on a pretty good track! I have to tell you, this is just one fashion show out of many to come.” His words resonated with the triumphant spirit of the evening.
OniriQ Magazine, published by 360 Business Media, hit newsstands a year and a half ago, offering a fresh take on the luxury universe aimed at a discerning, diverse readership. Focusing on three main themes: Luxury, Art, and Pleasures, OniriQ Magazine seeks to celebrate the art of living, excellence, and unparalleled craftsmanship in all luxury domains. Until its inception, France lacked a magazine with expertise in the luxury universe. Busso’s vision was to create something unique, with a French team adept at addressing subjects related to excellence.
After launching as a quarterly magazine with a substantial presence both in print and digitally, OniriQ Magazine has now extended its reach to organizing fashion shows. This year marked its first foray into hosting its own fashion events during Paris Fashion Week, providing a platform for emerging designers.
The fashion show featured collections from three designers: Glamoda Style, Maison Laurette, and Thalie Paris. Lebanese designer Abeer Stouhi of Glamoda Style opened the show with a collection that included khaki jumpsuits, short red dresses, and elegant ensembles in black and white, captivating the audience with her vibrant designs.
Maison Laurette, under the guidance of Laure Fessard, showcased an impressive collection of hats, drawing inspiration from the chic elegance of women from the 1920s and 1930s. The collection played with shapes and materials, culminating in a stunning bridal piece.
Thalie Paris concluded the show with its high-end eco-responsible leather goods. The models graced the catwalk with bags adorned in pearls, red leather, feathers, and rhinestones, embodying the brand’s commitment to extravagance and sustainability.
The evening continued with a cocktail reception and a gala dinner, where guests had the opportunity to discuss the event, network, and explore new opportunities in the fashion industry.
For Dominique Busso, this event marked the beginning of a new era for OniriQ Magazine. He envisions the magazine becoming a permanent fixture in the fashion ecosystem, highlighting new talents and becoming a pivotal platform for luxury, fashion, and art enthusiasts. With plans to expand internationally, OniriQ Magazine is already in discussions to launch local versions in different countries. The magazine is set to make its next appearance at the Cannes Festival, promising more fashion shows and continued celebration of emerging talent.
The OniriQ Fashion Show 2024 in Paris, particularly through the participation of icons like Anna Stukkert, has set a new standard in showcasing the future of fashion. It stands as a testament to the ever-evolving and dynamic nature of the fashion industry, highlighting the importance of supporting and celebrating new and diverse voices in design.
