In the heart of Palm Jumeirah, where the waves kiss the shore and luxury is a lifestyle, lives a woman who has redefined what it means to build an empire from scratch. Nicole Rodrigues, founder and CEO of the Dubai-based Diva Group of Companies, is not just a businesswoman — she’s a movement.
Once a model, now a mogul, Nicole commands industries as varied as modeling, real estate, and financial services — all under the Diva brand she created more than 20 years ago. Her journey from scouting talent to signing real estate deals and balancing books is a testament to her fearless adaptability and entrepreneurial vision.
Lounging in her oceanfront, ten-bedroom mansion, Nicole reflects on her philosophy about success — and money.
“Treat money like how you treat your wife,” she says with a knowing smile. “The more you chase her, the further she runs. Let her breathe, but take care of her — do your audits, check your accounts, invest in her. That’s how you grow.”
It’s cheeky wisdom — and it works.
Nicole’s start was humble. With nothing more than determination, ambition, and a handful of key contacts, she launched Diva Modelling Agency to give aspiring models in the region a safe and professional platform. But what began as a talent agency quickly grew into a multi-sector business empire.
“I just poured everything I had into building something meaningful,” she recalls. “I wanted to create safe spaces for women, and that vision pushed me every single day.”
From modeling, Nicole expanded into luxury real estate — selling some of the most coveted properties in Dubai, including homes like the one she now lives in. Then came Diva Holdings, an accounting and finance firm that helps others manage their wealth the way she learned to manage her own.
Her empire didn’t happen overnight. It was built on tireless work, constant reinvention, and a deep understanding of what people — especially women — need in order to thrive.
“Your finances are the heartbeat of everything,” she says. “Yes, you need to plan, project, and protect your capital. But for me, the money was never the goal — it was the result of staying true to my mission.”
Nicole’s story isn’t just one of business success. It’s also one of personal resilience. Twice divorced, she raised two children who are now in college, all while building her brand and navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
Originally from Bahrain and Denmark before settling in Dubai, she admits she didn’t fall in love with the city right away. But that changed.
“Dubai grew on me. She’s bold, fast-paced, full of heart — just like me. I didn’t just find a city to live in; I found a reflection of who I am.”
Today, Nicole Rodrigues is known as the “Queen of the Palm,” and not just for her address. She’s a symbol of what happens when passion meets precision, and when vision is backed by grit.
Her empire may have started with a single idea, but it’s powered by purpose — and Nicole isn’t done building yet.
