Pavel Rudanovskiy is the founder and CEO and founder of Verdi Global Consulting Group as well as being an innovative leader in the field of investment in Dubai. Verdi Global Consulting Group offer clients high-quality financial solutions based on deep market knowledge and the experience of its expert team. In an effort to achieve maximum efficiency, Verdi Global develops individual strategies for each client, taking into account their financial goals and risk preferences. In this interview, we discuss with Pavel about his business experience and thinking.
Stankevicius: Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: Now the main problem is the situation in which many investors complain that our region is very complex and not everything goes as rapidly and efficiently as they would like. I always answer that this is probably because they do not work with professional consulting companies like Verdi Global Consulting and have chosen to enter the market independently and without proper advice and support. In terms of the growth of our business, we have great success in changing a client’s negative views after they have worked with us.
Stankevicius: In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: We often encounter situations in which investors are not willing to pay for some of the services we offer mostly due to the fact that they believe that it is unnecessary and expensive. We have had numerous situations where the client did not pay $50,000 and this later became the reason for the loss of $200,000,000 opportunity. Our work is similar to the work that good lawyers provide . we must consider everything in our proposals to the client and take full responsibility for this based on our expertise.
Stankevicius: How has a failure or apparent failure set you up for later success?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: Any failure strengthens you and prevents you from making similar mistakes or missteps next time. I believe that it is impossible to do have a successful business without failure. In our case we usually get let down by people and partners who promise us too much and do not deliver. I lost one of my biggest clients precisely because I trusted the wrong person however I’ve learned to forgive and move on
Stankevicius: How do you maintain your personal resilience during tough times?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: If you want to hear honest answer to this question, then the answer will be “I don’t” . This ability comes with experience . The main thing is to understand that in this world there are unlimited possibilities and if something doesn’t’t work out, then you need to look past it and not stop but continue to grow.
Stankevicius: How do you communicate with your team during a crisis?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: In crisis situations, we usually organize company briefings more frequently, make decisions more rapidly and try to stay in touch with our global partners and offices abroad to monitor and predict possible consequences. We have a unique strategy and system for working with this
Stankevicius: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned about leadership in times of crisis?
Pavel Rudanovskiy: When everything around you starts to collapse, as the leader of a company, I have learned to put aside emotions and, with a cool mind, make rapid sometimes unexpected decisions on which not only the life of the company depends, but also sometimes the lives of its employees and clients. Any crisis is stressful, so probably the main thing is to survive no matter what and not let down the people for whom you have taken responsibility
